Dark Inky Rose

Resinous & Cold: The fragrance opens with a massive dose of bright, lemony Elemi and sharp, hyper-realistic Olibanum (Frankincense). It is immediately contrasted by a highly unique, cold, and slightly metallic Black Ink accord, which gives the opening a mysterious, gothic, and starkly dry feel.
Floral & Leathery: The heart introduces a rich Damask Rose, but unlike the sweet, jammy, or powdery roses typical in perfumery, this one feels slightly green and melancholic. It is heavily shadowed by a synthetic suede/leather note (Suederal) and even more layers of smoky incense, preventing the floral aspect from ever becoming too delicate.
Woody & Balsamic: The base is deeply anchored by rich, warm resins like Myrrh and a subtle touch of Vanilla, beautifully blended with smooth Sandalwood and Cedarwood. This perfectly smooths out the sharp ink and dry smoke, leaving a meditative, luxurious, and incredibly long-lasting "high-church" dry down.
