Q: Are these fake perfumes? A: No. Our fragrances are Impressions. We do not sell counterfeit goods or "knock-offs" in fake branded bottles. We create our own unique formulations that are inspired by the olfactory notes of designer and niche scents. You are paying for the high-quality liquid inside our own FragBar bottle, not the designer logo or tax.
Q: How close is the smell to the original? A: We aim for a 95%+ match to the original scent profile. Our perfumers analyze the chemical breakdown (notes) of the inspiration scents to recreate the vibe, dry-down, and projection you love. Most customers cannot tell the difference once it’s on the skin.
Q: Why are your prices so much lower? A: In the luxury perfume industry, the liquid often costs less than 5% of the retail price. The rest pays for celebrity endorsements, crystal bottles, and billion-dollar marketing campaigns. At FragBar, we strip all that away. You pay for the scent, not the hype.
Q: What is the concentration? (EdT vs. Extrait) A: Most of our Designer and Niche Blends are formulated as Extraits de Parfum or High-Concentration Oils. This means they contain a higher percentage of perfume oil (30%+) compared to standard Department Store Eau de Toilettes (5-10%). This creates a richer scent that lasts longer.
Q: How long does the scent last? A: Longevity varies by skin chemistry and the specific scent notes (e.g., vanilla lasts longer than citrus), but our customers typically report 6–10+ hours of wear. Because we use high oil concentrations, our scents are designed to outlast many of the current watered-down designer formulations.
Q: How do I apply perfume oils (Attars)? A: Oils are much stronger than sprays. Use the glass wand (tola) or rollerball to apply a small amount to your pulse points: wrists, behind the ears, and the neck. Rubbing them in gently creates heat which helps project the scent. Do not apply directly to light-colored clothing as oils can stain.
Q: Can I mix/layer them? A: Absolutely! Many of our customers use our Traditional Musk or Oud oils as a base layer, and then spray a Designer Blend on top. This creates a unique signature scent and significantly boosts longevity.
Q: Where do you ship from? A: We are proudly Canadian! All orders are fulfilled and shipped directly from our store in Mississauga, Ontario.
Q: Do you accept returns? A: Due to the personal nature of fragrance products, we cannot accept returns. However, if your bottle arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately. We highly recommend purchasing our Smaller bottles first if you are unsure about a scent.

Q: Are your products safe for skin? A: Yes. We adhere to standard safety guidelines for cosmetic fragrance. However, if you have sensitive skin, we always recommend doing a "patch test" on a small area of your arm before full wear.
Q: Do you use real Oud? A: For our Traditional Oils collection (like Hindi or Cambodian Oud), yes, we source authentic agarwood oils. For our "Inspired by" sprays, we use a mix of high-quality synthetic and natural ingredients to replicate the scent profile accurately and affordably.
