...this is such a gorgeous fragrance. I don't have an advanced nose, and I haven't looked at the notes. After eight sprays on my forearm, I get mild sweetness, some sort of salty spice reminding me of powdered nutmeg, and an overall chocolatey scent that is almost gourmand.
It's well-blended. Starts drying off to a dry, kind of good but worn-out potpourri nosefeel; very mild. It's a soft scent overall. Maybe it'll get stronger post-maceration, but as of now, no way to overspray it.
Not a common scent profile, but also not a weird one you can't get along with. It was an insta-like for me. Longevity is poor out of the box, but in my experience, these Arab fragrances need a week or two after a few sprays to really bloom into full fragrances.
But so far, this smells promising and at least twice the $31 it cost. Such a surprising blind-buy! I'm glad I went for it even though I was just shopping for a tobacco fragrance haul.
