This doesn't smell 100% identical to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille up close, but whatever percentage of similarity it has, is enough to not warrant spending the money on the original fragrance.
From far away, they smell basically identical. That's the gist. I always like buying the originals and clones to evaluate side by side, and if I get confused or have to strain to detect significant differences in scent and in quality of ingredients, that's enough to disqualify the original fragrance from a future repurchase.
As long as the inspired fragrance is not missing what makes the original good and can replicate it to a point of being borderline indistinguishable, that's the best buy to me. I couldn't care less about brand recognition.
These Middle Eastern inspirations are way better than they should. They smell more like batch variants or reformulations than just mere clones, ha-ha.
